Job Description.
-Title: Project Director.
-Hours of work: 25hrs/Week, with regular evening and weekend
– working, for which time off in lieu will be agreed.
-Wage: £20/hr. -Length of the project: 18 months, with possible extension depending on funding.
-Annual leave: 28 days pro rata (17 days per annum)
-Location: 2, Thorpe Close, London, W10 5XL Role:
-The Project Director will organise workshops, training sessions days.
-The Project Director will support the preparation and the delivery of workshops planned in the project.
-He/she will prepare all discussion regarding podcasts (outcomes) in collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
-He/She will be in charge of coordinating volunteers and other participants involved in the project.
-He/She will coordinate the work of the research team for the project and gather information obtained to be shared with stakeholders.
-He/She will be member of the Project Advisory Group and will act as the group’s Secretary.
-He/She will be member and chair of the Traditional Music research Group in relation to this project. – He/She will liaise with the organization board and prepare the final project’s report.
Requirements:
If you are successful and find yourself in this role you will be responsible for formulating project plans with key stakeholders and submitting them for approval, then introducing the requested changes into action.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience in a project-based role, with the ability to hold their own and lead meetings internally with several key stakeholders (i.e. Product Design). Project Director Specification:
- Central point of contact for project enquiries
- Creating, planning, monitoring and closing projects
- Project risks management, providing advance notice of potential risks
- Allocating and managing project tasks for all project stakeholders
- Project resource scheduling estimation and management
- Conducting project status review meetings with team members and stakeholders
- Providing reports and documentation on project stage and progress
- Experience in a project leading/coordinator role
- Ability to manage multiple projects with various duration scales
- Good command in using Microsoft Office, Internet and social media
- Persuasive and engaging approach with stakeholders
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads
- Observant and upbeat with a “can do” and “will do” attitude.
